FROM OUR PRINCIPAL OF JOINT CAMPUS

Thank you for your continued support with uniform, attendance and punctuality. These are essential in contributing to an effective education for your child.  The school has a positive, inclusive, caring ethos.  It is designated to make provision for pupils with significant additional support needs arising from a range of factors.  Pupils with additional support needs are taught alongside their peers in mainstream classes and, where appropriate, in a specially designed learning centre which is an integral part of the school.

We are delighted this year to have restarted our breakfast club thanks to Niall Marshall our new Active Schools Co-ordinator. The club runs on a Wednesday morning from 8am and pupils can swim, use the fitness suite or the sports hall under the supervision of staff.  Following their activity they can have a free breakfast in the social area of a hot or cold drink, toast and cereal. This is a great way for both pupils and staff to start their day.

Parents are reminded that during teaching and learning times pupils should not leave school without permission. Please also ensure that the contact details we have for you are up to date in case we should have to contact you in an emergency.

Should you wish to speak to a member of staff regarding an issue about your child, please contact their Guidance Teacher in the first instance or their Head of House.  These are as follows:

Ettrick -    Mr P Phillips (Guidance Teacher)
Mr R Ferguson (Head of House)

Kames -   Mrs H MacVicar/Mr E Campbell (Guidance Teachers)
Mrs Elizabeth Campbell (Head of House)

Scalpsie - Miss L Nicolson (Guidance Teacher)
Mrs L Nicol (Head of House)

Thank you for your continued support.
