Hello all,

We hope that you have all had a good break.

As you are aware the season is upon us and the boys are ready and raring to go. We had a friendly against Dunoon last week which ended in a 2-2 draw Ruairidh McGregor scored what could already be the goal of the season a right foot volley from 20yrds into the top right hand corner from a precise set up from Chris Lawrence and the second was scored by Chris Lawrence who latched onto a through ball from Craig Macfee. Man of the match was Scott MacPhail. The boys showed great promise and John and I are really looking forward to working with them. To keep in touch with what is happening with the boys please feel free to look at our website for match reports, player ratings and more

One of our main aims this season is to make the club self sufficient for the coming years. The funds we need to cover are the cost of hiring the ground for home games and the costs of joining the league. The main outgoing is that it costs us £200 for each away game of the season and we can have anything up to 20 away fixtures dependent upon cup games. John has come up with a fantastic idea and one that could earn you money. Yes thats right not only will you be supporting your school team but you could pocket some cash!!!!

The 100 CLUB

We will be having monthly draws for the above named club. For your chance to pocket £100 all you need to do is buy a ticket which is £2.50 a month. Or you can be in the draw for the full year for £25 thats 2 months free. The draw will take place at our last home game of each month starting in September. If you would like to be involved in this and support your club speak to John or myself. We are asking local businesses and the players to gain names also. We have asked the children not to hound you as getting asked the same question 20+ times can be annoying. For those of you who do want to be included in the 100 club you will receive a certificate that you can proudly display in your rooms to show you support the team. These will also be on show in the businesses in town that have joined in supporting the club.

Remember you have to be in it to win it 12x£100 to be won

We will also be raising funds at the highland games. We will be conducting a raffle and we would be very grateful for any donations of prizes from yourselves. If you can could you please let either myself or John know.

Thanks in advance

Chris and John
